There's nothing like a hug to turn a crappy day around. But if you're single and live far away from your friends and family, then that could be a problem. On a side note, you're in luck if you happen to be living in Japan because there's this new cafe called Soineya there, where you can just drop in and pay for a couple of minutes of cuddle time. We kid you not.
But if you live anywhere else in the world and would just like a hug (without having to bump uglies like you'd have to if you got a floozy), then I'm betting you'd probably want to get one of these Like-a-Hug vests for yourself.
It's a one-of-a-kind vest of high-technological proportions because it inflates and gives you a big old squeeze every time one your status updates, photos, or videos get a 'like' from one of your online buddies on Facebook! Talk about virtual lovin'.
They're not on sale, since they were made by MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media Group as a project, so boo for you.
Like-A-Hug is a wearable social media vest that allows for hugs to be given via Facebook, bringing us closer despite physical distance. Hugs can also be sent back to the original sender by squeezing the vest and deflating it.
