There's only one song to listen to while looking at these pictures of Lil Kim stepping out with her new face. Today's Jukebox Selects is another classic. One that can't be denied. The Godfather of Soul, James Brown, with his immortal classic, "Super Bad."
It always bothered me that the movie Superbad didn't use the song "Super Bad." Maybe they used it in the trailer, I don't remember. I hate when movies do that, Dazed and Confused, Velvet Goldmine, and Boogie Nights. I actually love all of those movies though. David Lynch was right out front with that, using Bobby Vinton's "Blue Velvet" over the opening moments of his film of the same name. Like Kenny Rogers once said, "Where my bitches at?"
Anyway, Lil Kim, what more is there to say? She's a legend, so she can do as she pleases. She doesn't need anyone's permission to be a bad ass in black lace. She's got the cred and she's got the high heels and she's got the drive and she's gonna make it after all. She's all of that and the proverbial bag of chips. One might even say, she's Super Bad...
