Michael Garcia - April 8, 2016

Liam Cunningham plays one of my favorite characters on Game of Thrones, Sir Davos the Onion Knight. His devotion to Stannis was admirable if misplaced. Cunningham plays him with vulnerability, strength, and humor. You will recall that he did not go with Stannis on his disastrous march south to Winterfell and stayed at Castle Black. Which means he's there for the aftermath of Jon Snow's apparent death. In the clip he shows on Conan O'Brien, we get a first look at a scene from season 6. We saw part of this clip in the trailer. We see Davos and some Snow loyalists locked up in a room with Jon's corpse and a very pissed off Ghost. The conspirators want to get into the room and get Jon's body and Sir Davos and the boys are trying to protect it.

Why? Is it because they are going to try and see if the Lady Melisandre can resurrect him? Remember she's there too. Do they just not want the body desecrated? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
