There's a lot of excitement all around for the Mobile World Congress that will be kicking off on February 26. This year's event will be held in Barcelona, and you can expect mobile phone manufacturers to continue the trend of unveiling their newest and latest gadgets at the mobile trade show.

For starters, LG has provided a sneak peek on three up-and-coming phones: the L3, L5, and L7.

In a press release, LG talked about a new design philosophy that they embodied with these three phones, the "L-style." The manufacturer described it as being comprised of five aesthetic elements:

Modern Square Style for a comfortable grip, Floating Mass Technology for a slimmer look, Seamless Layout for a more intuitive arrangement of keys, Harmonized Design Contrast utilizing metallic accents and Sensuous Slim Shape that naturally draws one's attention.

The announcement also offered additional information about the three units:

  • Optimus L3. This phone will have a 3.2-inch display and will be launched in Europe this March.
  • Optimus L5. This phone will be equipped with a 4-inch display.
  • Optimus L7. This phone will feature a 4.3-inch screen.

The L5 and L7 will be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and will be released in the later part of the first half of the year after the L3.

LG has indicated that the full specifications and market availability of these devices will be made available at a later date.
