‘Last Jedi’ TV Spot Shows Rey Wielding an Unexpected Lightsaber (VIDEO)

Between the various trailers, TV spots, and various other behind the scenes videos, I think it's safe to say we've seen roughly seven or eight of the film's 152 minutes, so there's a good chance there's a ton of surprises in store for us when The Last Jedi opens one week from tonight. This latest TV spot, however—which shows a countdown of 8 days to release, which makes sense considering it aired last night—shows one of the most surprising things we've seen yet in any TV spot or trailer.

25 seconds into this 30 second TV spot, we see Rey reaching out with her left hand in what appears to be Snoke's throne room, and then we see Kylo Ren's lightsaber fly into her hand as she battles several of Snoke's Praetorian Guards...

Color me intrigued. I mean, it's one of two things. Rey and Kylo team up to take down Snoke or Rey realizes that there's another lightsaber in the room, as they obviously confiscated hers, so she takes it for her own. Either way, it's the kind of little hints and teases we need at this point. Nothing too spoilery, just enough to continue whetting our appetites. We'll all find out for sure one week from tonight!
