Kendall Jenner Backlash Over Black Hairstyle

According to the fans, Kendall Jenner doesn’t have enough black in her to wear an afro. I’m not sure what counts as enough, but I’m pretty sure she’d have to sleep with the same amount of black men or more than her sister Kim before she can style her hair like Colin Kaepernick. At the moment she probably only qualifies for cornrows and being approved as the plus one attendee at her black friend’s cookout. Kendall’s more likely to be down on two knees for reasons other than being down on one for the cause so this makes mostly everything she does seem like cultural appropriation. But in this instance, I don’t see it. Her hairstyle is more similar to Barbara Streisand after sticking a fork in an outlet. Viola, a vintage Jew fro is born.

American Vogue has apologised after a photoshoot starring Kendall Jenner was labelled “cultural appropriation” by critics.

The magazine posted the images of the model on Instagram, where they sparked a wave of negative comments from people who found Jenner’s afro-like hairstyle “offensive”.

In a statement, the Condé Nast publication explained how the photos, which had been taken to promote the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund, were meant to evoke a nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the early 20th century.

On one hand I couldn’t care less how Kendall does her hair. But on the other hand, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I enjoy watching outrage culture shrink the boundaries of what’s acceptable for a celebrity only famous for doing nothing. I suggest the gypsy just stick to begging for money while not providing anything in return because that’s Kardashian culture. And when you’re a KarJenner you can’t be accused of appropriation for begging, borrowing, and stealing when that’s what you were born to do.
