Katharine McPhee made her Broadway debut in 2018 by starring in the musical Waitress, and following a successful run as the lead character in London, she will be returning to the Broadway production later this month and will remain in the leading role until the show closes in January. To announce her return, the curvy brunette stood between two posters for the show in a form fitting outfit that is sure to have you coming down with a case of McPhee-ver.
I know people lost a lot of respect for Katharine when she married songwriter extraordinaire David Foster earlier this year, but I have to give her a lot of credit for her decision. I mean, mostly I've got to give Foster a lot of credit for landing a woman half his age, but at least she's letting the world know that she values talent over, well, pretty much everything else.
Not every woman in Katharine McPhee's position can own up to their wants and desires, but Katharine has shown that if you just wait around long enough, some songwriter twice your age will swoop in and give you that career boost you've been looking for. Good for you Katharine, but more importantly, good for you David Foster.
