Kaia Gerber Talks Growing Up with Vogue!

Kaia Gerber has been in the modelling world since she turned 13, following in her mother Cindy Crawford's footsteps. At 19 she has already become one of the most successful models in the world, but the success comes along with some insecurity. Kaia recently sat down with Vogue to talk about finding her voice.

"For a long time, I thought my face and my body had more to say than I did, because that’s what people thought of me...I always wanted to be good and easy, not to make trouble,” she says, “but when you do that, you sometimes end up losing your voice."

Kaia was shot by photographer Colin Dodgson for the magazine while posted up at her parents Malibu compound with her rescue dog Milo. The model spoke more about growing up in the fashion world and how when she first started travelling for Fashion Week alone, she didn't even know how to check into her own hotel room. "I found myself in situations where I was, like, I actually don’t have the life experience that I need to handle this. I remember, when I started traveling alone, in Paris, my driver had to check me into my hotel room—I couldn’t even do it on my own.”
