While it's not terribly likely that you thought this to yourself while watching any of the previous Jurassic Park films, you're going to be rewarded if you had the thought "You know what this film needs more of? Dinosaurs!" This summer's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is promising untold riches of dinosaurs on screen, more than in all of the previous films combined, in fact.
Personally, I'm not totally convinced that a lack of dinosaurs was the issue for the previous films, but then again I think they've all been trash since the original. I do have some hope that this won't be a total wash, though, since director J.A. Bayona has proven himself a great filmmaker with his previous films. Plus they brought back Goldblum, so I have to give them points for that decision.
So yeah, if you've been hankering for more dinosaurs than ever, more than in the first four films combined, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the movie for you. Personally I'm going to go in expecting the worst and will hopefully be pleasantly surprised, since I went into Jurassic World with high hopes and saw them crushed. It's always best to expect the worst, kiddos. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens on June 22.
