TV & FILM

If someone walked up to me on the street today and offered to make me my own movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'd accept first and ask questions later.
Jeremy Renner? Not so much.
In a recent interview with MTV about his various upcoming film projects (such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mission Impossible 5, and something called Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters 2), Renner not only said he had no interest in a standalone Hawkeye movie, but that he doesn't think the character should have his own movie. And while that's certainly true, I wouldn't state that publicly if I were him, just in case somebody over at Marvel thought otherwise.
Renner is apparently all about burning bridges, though.
"I'm happy to be the ensemble," he said. "I'm not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means. I think he's a utility guy that can bounce around into other people's universes a little bit, especially like Cap 3."
Then he literally winked at the camera, as if so say pretty please put me in Cap 3.
Geeze, Matt Damon swoops in and steals the Bourne franchise back from him and suddenly Jeremy Renner is begging for supporting roles.
