Jeffrey Tambor Refuses To Lose

Imagine having a sexual harassment superstar in your midst and cowering to something as silly as public opinion. Oh no, not Netflix. They understand that sometimes you have to grab life by the horns, or the pussy, and keep on keeping on when it comes to taking home a trophy. Which is honestly surprising as they axed a breadwinner like Kevin Spacey and parted ways with bearded pornstache Danny Masterson after hearing stories about him sticking his dick where it wasn’t welcome. But there’s just something about Jeffrey Tambor that’s making Netflix look the other way and still submit his name for an Emmy nomination after all of the allegations. It couldn’t be because of the money Netflix invested in renewing Arrested Development. Because that would be putting business before ethics, and what kind of crazy company does that?

Although Amazon pulled “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor out of the 2018 Emmy Awards race in early May, the actor will be in the running for the nomination-voting that starts June 11, Variety has confirmed. Netflix is submitting him in the supporting comedy actor category for his work in the fifth season of “Arrested Development,” which bows just ahead of this year’s close of Emmy eligibility.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. Tambor is being accused of voyeurism, which isn’t right but still far from being the worst on the sexual harassment hierarchy of offenses. How many movies has Hollywood produced where teenage boys have spied on girls getting undressed in a locker room. That scene or something similar was in just about every 80s movie ever produced. No one even batted an eye. Jeff is a teenager at heart. All Tambor wanted to do was watch women sleep. A scolding would have easily solved the problem. Or at least prompted him to ask women beforehand in the future. Maybe winning an Emmy will make up for the misfortunes he’s experiencing this year.
