When you think Jurassic Park, you think one of two things: Dinosaurs or Jeff Goldblum. One of the reasons Jurassic World was such a disappointment to so many fans is that it only gave us half of what we loved about Jurassic Park. Thankfully the makers of Jurassic World 2 are setting things right by bringing Goldblum back to play noted Chaos-loving mathematician Ian Malcolm.

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has moved on to Star Wars Episode IX, leaving J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage, A Monster Calls) to handle directorial duties. I must admit I already like the direction this sequel is heading in more than the original. There's something weird about the third and fourth films in the JP franchise, and I've only now realized that it's not just Steven Spielberg that made those first two movies so good... It was also thanks to a heaping helping of Goldblum antics.

Goldblum joins returning Jurassic World stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, as well as new cast members James Cromwell, Toby Jones, and Justice Smith for the currently untitled sequel due in theaters on June 22, 2018.
