Pigs still can't fly, but now cars can. For years, we've seen automobiles get off the streets and fly into the air in movies and television shows, and now the same can be said for real life.
The flying car is called the Terrafugia Transition (yeah, I know, boring name) and it can actually fly. It doesn't just hover a few inches above the ground and move in small little circles, but it actually flies as in takes off from the ground like a plane and do a full lap around the airfield!
You might argue that it looks a lot like a plane, albeit a very compact and small version of it, but skip on over to 1:30 in the clip to witness its transformation from pseudo-plane to car. Of course it needs wings to stay in the air, but when it's on the ground, these wings fold into the sides and makes the Terrafugia look like an abnormal pickup truck of sorts.
It might not be the best aesthetically, but it's a f'cking flying car, for crying out loud, and it's definitely going on the number one spot for my Christmas wish list this year.
