It's difficult to know how well Black Panther is going to perform at the box office, but based on Marvel's 2017 results, I'd say it's got a better than average chance of being another smash hit. A new international trailer for the film has been unveiled and it's got some Avengers thrown in the mix, I guess to remind us that this is set in the same world as those films. I guess.
It's not just those shots from earlier MCU films that are in this trailer, but some new footage we haven't seen before of Chadwick Boseman's title character and Michael B. Jordan's villainous Erik Killmonger. There's also a few new shots of Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o in action as Panther's elite female fighting squad, the Dora Milaje.
Like I said, there's not a ton of new stuff in here, but it's enough to establish Black Panther's place in the MCU and give fans hungry for new footage a handful of new shots to drool over. The wait for Black Panther isn't anywhere near as long as you're thinking as the latest Marvel franchise launches, under the direction of Ryan Coogler, in North America beginning on February 16, 2018.
