In Space, Nobody Can Hear Goats Scream

  Video games seem to have lost their way these days. Wherever you look, there’s a super serious war-tastic shooter, and endless internet fury and/or bitching about said war-tastic shooter. What happened when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was revealed as just as futuristic as the last couple? Petty YouTube dislike sprees, and furious death threats. What happened when a reviewer didn’t praise Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End all that much? A hate campaign, and more furious death threats.  

Sometimes, you need to put all of this BS into perspective, and remember that we’re talking about gaming here. Mellow out, man, or take a chill pill, or whichever long-freaking-dead slang phrase you prefer. Stop taking everything so damn seriously already.

Stop taking everything so damn seriously already would be a pretty good box blurb for Goat Simulator, the finest slice of ridiculous pisstakery the medium’s seen in some time. You’ve surely seen it in action by now. If not, it’s about to hit June’s Games With Gold downloads.

What else is it about to do? Go into goddamn space, that’s what. Yesterday saw Goat Simulator’s Waste of Space expansion hit, and it’s really something you need to see. If only for the trailer.
