How ‘Overwatch’ Porn Became A Thing

We’re all familiar with rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it. If, by the slimmest chance, it doesn’t exist yet, you can bet that some pervtastic bastard has photoshop (and a Google search for ‘chipmunk wangs’ or something) open right now working on it. It’s just a fact of Internet life, like emails from Nigerian princes offering you millions of dollars if you give them your bank details.

Until his Highness gets back to me, and the mystery of all those recent charges to my account I don’t remember making is solved (I’m sure it wasn’t Prince Nbogyo, he sounded legit to me), let’s focus on the porn thing. In particular, the Pornhub/Overwatch thing.

As we’ve seen in the past, our buddies at PornHub are all about the math. Pie charts, graphs, they live for that stuff. Well, y’know, math and anal. When the Overwatch beta hit, it brought some interesting statistics with it, and the ‘hub were right there to share it.

Overwatch is the new class-based shooter from Blizzard, the World of Warcraft guys. Its beta hit late last week, and seems to have been pretty damn popular. When it began, ‘Overwatch’ searches on PornHub rose (among other things) by 817%. Female characters are dominant in the game, and… well, enough said really.

Check out the report over on Daily Star. That’s a lot of Overwatch lust, right there.
