Holy Smokes: TMNT Pizza Bong and Other Awesome Novelty Pipes

It is not the smoker that chooses the bong; rather, it is the bong that chooses the smoker.

That line should sound familiar if you happen to be a fellow geek in your growing-up years (yeah, I admit I was one, too) and read every Harry Potter book that was released. Wondering why I made the reference to Potter when this is supposed to be about bongs?

Well, think about it: getting high and magic actually have a lot in common. There's the initial thrill and that great surge of energy, followed by the feeling that you don't really know what you're doing or where you are--and then you come back to reality and wonder if that short (but sweet) moment ever happened in the first place.

But before you can, you know, do  magic, you need a wand bong. That's where glassblower Brendan Taylor and his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza bongs come in.

The series features the two most popular turtles of the bunch, Michelangelo and Leonardo. The pizza component on each pipe is removable, with the turtle of choice featured at the bottom of the bong. It seems like the perfect pipe, doesn't it, until you actually use it and get the munchies, then attempt to do something stupid. Like try to eat the pizza, for instance, and get a chipped tooth or two as a result.
