Heat and Celtics Game Six Preview and Prediction

It's the rectal tightening, stomach churning do-or-die game for the Miami Heat tonight, as they try to stay alive against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

Everything is in Boston's favor tonight. Three game winning streak, confidence, a self-doubting Miami team, and playing at home. Kevin Garnett is playing like it's his own personal mission to carry the Celtics back to the Finals, and Rajon Rondo is making the game look extremely easy, aside from shooting 3-15 last game, that is.

Is Miami dead on arrival? No, of course not. Chris Bosh is expected to play a lot more tonight, and might even start. It's still pretty bizarre that Erik Spoelstra didn't play Bosh in the fourth quarter of game five, he was playing well in his limited time. At least ask the guy if he feels good enough to go back in. It would have helped.

Tonight might look similar to what we saw last night, when San Antonio got out to a big lead early, then saw the home team storm back into it and ultimately win it. I don't think Miami will get out to an 18 point lead like the Spurs did on the Thunder, but I suspect they'll come out with a lot of purpose and will get ahead in the first half.

Boston is going to win this game, though. They have too much heart and and are playing far more cohesively than the Heat are.

Boston by 5.
