The Scandinavians are really into the health benefits of saunas. It's a tradition going back thousands of years. There are saunas in workplaces and even in the Finnish parliament. But a really weird place to find a Sauna is in a Burger King. At a BK lounge in Helsinki, Finland there is a sauna for you to use before you enjoy eating a Whopper with cheese. The idea is that you come in and sweat out all of the toxins from your body and then immediately put them back by eating a highly processed bag of farts-smelling burger and fries. To be clear, you can't eat in the sauna. That would be gross and weird. Brand manager Hanne-Mari Ahonen says, "No, no, the sauna is for sweating it out, and our hamburgers taste all the better for it afterward." The whole experience will cost you 250 Euros plus the cost of the food. That's pretty steep for what can only be described as friggin' weird.
I can't imagine this is a good combination. The last thing I would want to do when I got out of a sauna is to eat a greasy, disgusting burger. It would probably make me projectile vomit. Unless that purge is the desired effect. The Finnish are strange.
