GAMING
bill-swift - September 14, 2012
If you got down with Halo back in 2001, you'll recall Guilty Spark always referring to you/Master Chief as "Forerunner." Since then the mythology of the Forerunners and the Halo units and humanity has only grown and become more enthralling. Coming up in Halo 4, the Forerunners and your/Master Chief's place in the puzzle both become a little clearer. The Prometheans are the new enemy introduced in the game and their Forerunner connection is going to have a significant impact on things. Plus, consider this: Halo games always have some major twist or surprise that nobody sees coming (remember The Flood?). So, the fact that we know about the Prometheans now, before the game is even out, would suggest that this new enemy is a distraction, a diversion from whatever shocking turn Halo 4 is going to take. This is usually the way of things when it comes to Halo. I'm not saying I know what the twist is. I am saying, I know one is coming because of all the stuff they've been eager to reveal so far. Ninjas and/or monkeys would fit the bill right?
