Watch out, Ego-gents. Valentine's Day is on its way, and you know what that means. Spangly jewellery, chocolates and #luckygirl hashtags on social media, in my experience. It's all a con by big business bastards to sell more candy, but if we're lucky there are edible undercrackers or something thrown into the bargain as well.
Who's not so big on the old ‘romance' thing? The guys of Grand Theft Auto V, that's who. What with all the drug-dealing, strip clubs and gun-running those guys have to do, there's little time for fancy-ass candlelight dinners and all of that stuff. Which is probably why this latest update is trying to bring a little of the good lovin' to Los Santos.
The Be My Valentine update hit the game yesterday, bringing all the regular additions that players expect by now. There's a pair of new vehicles available to buy, the Albany Roosevelt and the Albany Roosevelt Valor (the first of which returns from 2014's GTA Online Valentine's event), along with a gaggle of new clothing items and accessories.
The biggest draw is probably the new ‘couples-themed' adversary mode, which Rockstar have called Till Death Do Us Part. We don't know too much about how this one'll work, but it launches tomorrow. In the interim, take an ogle at this quick taster of the new content:
