Gracie Abrams is a rising singer-songwriter known for her deeply personal lyrics and emotional, indie-pop sound.
The daughter of filmmaker J.J. Abrams, she’s made a name for herself with hits like 21, I Miss You, I’m Sorry, and Where Do We Go Now?. All of which I have not heard. So basically, yeah, she's a nepo baby.
In a candid interview with Cosmopolitan, singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams didn't hold back her criticism of explicit adult content, stating, "It's really dangerous for young people for that to be their introduction to sex."
She emphasized that such material is "not real, and a performance," expressing concern over its impact on youth.
Reflecting on her own experiences, Abrams recalled reading looking to the internet for answers, which she says is frightening to think about. Giving Cosmopolitan a shoutout and saying that people should instead read the magazine for information on sex...
"Young people need to learn about sex from a reputable resource like Cosmo or a strong mentor, not just scrolling aimlessly online like I did."
I guess Gracie is talking about some Cosmo hits such as:
Yes, Cosmo actually suggested you could make it so good that he’d black out. Casual.
Move over, career goals. Apparently, the real key to success is a game-changing vagina.
Because regular alignment is for chiropractors, Cosmo wants you sexually aligned at all times.
Subtlety? Never heard of it.
Spoiler: At least one of them definitely involves food, and another probably defies gravity.
And of course, the magazine has also promoted destroying your root chakra though anal sex with the headline;
Yes, Gracie thinks young girls should rely on Cosmo for real, informative, sexual advice... ok.. Gracie!
