The Heat are in big trouble. They know it, the experts know it, and their fans know it. Except one voice rose above the crowd last night as the team somberly walked to their locker room after the final buzzer. A young kid was apparently sitting right next to a microphone and was trying to remind the Heat that all was not lost. Now this kid's enthusiasm is all over the web and sports talk radio today.
'Good job, good effort, good effort, good job!' might just have to become the Heat's rallying cry as they go to Boston for game six tomorrow night.
You gotta love the optimism of youth, trying to find something positive in a soul crushing loss. Or, maybe it was some punk Boston fan mocking the Heat for blowing a home game that might have cost them the series.
But I like to imagine it was a true and sincere Miami Heat fan who didn't want his team to think that nothing good came out of the game, because even though they came up short on the scoreboard, they need to remember they still did a good job and put forth a good effort.
There are some people who still believe in moral victories. Way to go, kid.
