When Clap Trap isn't busy doing marriage proposals or mastering the art of photo bombing, he's apparently spending his time reminiscing about the good old 16-bit era of gaming....at least that's what he's doing at the moment.

You'd think Gearbox Software would be too busy working on Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines to be thinking about anything else but that's not the case, as they've just released an official browser based Borderlands 2 'demake' that takes the world of Pandora and gives it the retro treatment.

The game itself has a very simplistic design and overall style but is still worth checking out for a good chunk of solid amusement.

Borderlands wasn't always the slick, handsome bastard of a game it is today! Go old skool and play the 1989 16-bit original to see how it all began. I can't believe how young I look! -Claptrap

The game allows you to choose any of the four leading characters from Borderlands 2 to take on waves of enemies in a survival mode. I absolutely love all the familiar aspects of the game such as the huge variety of guns, all the wildlife and psychos and even those sweet ass loot chests.

You can check out the game for yourself over at the humorously titled WubWub.eu! No downloads, no purchases...just instant fun.
