‘Friday the 13th The Game’ Holds A Jason Vote You’ll Want to Get in On

The issue with a lot of the big horror icons is that they don't know when to freaking stop. We were on to a damn good thing with Child's Play and Chucky, but there were just too many movies. The result? Bride/Seed of Chucky, dark ‘humor' and shitty rappers being disemboweled and all of that. It was a damn shame.

Freddy had a similar problem. How many Nightmare on Elm Streets were there? Too goddamn many, that's how many. Each one dialled up the ridiculous a little further. The other result of this is that the character will change over time, and some fans just lose bowel control over that kind of stuff (the reboot of Nightmare with Jackie Earle Halley in Robert Englund's place, for instance).

When it comes to the new Friday the 13th game coming our way, everything's a little different. Several versions or skins of Jason will be included, and we're getting to vote on which.

The game was a huge success on Kickstarter, exceeding many of its backing goals. One of these was called ‘Many Faces of Death,' and allows fans to choose the next three iterations of the main man that will be featured. As Game Spot reports, options include Jason as seen in:

-Friday the 13 Part 4: The Final Chapter

-Friday the 13 Part 5: A New Beginning

-Friday the 13 Part 6: Jason Lives

-Friday the 13 Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan

-Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

-Jason X

Jasons II, III and VII (if you know what I mean) are already in, these are just extras. For more on the game and to get your Jasontastic voice heard, hit the link above.
