Following ‘Veronica Mars’, What Should Be The Next Kickstarter Project?

Veronica Mars is back! And it happened because fans are amazing. According to show creator Rob Thomas, the goal (as set by Warner Bros.) was to raise $2 million in 30 days, which would convince the studio to put the movie into production. Well, not only did they reach that goal, but they did it record time.

After Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell announced the Kickstarter campaign, devoted fans started pledging and spreading the news, and were able to raise the necessary $2 million, in less than 11 hours. And even though the goal has already been reached, donations keep coming in, because that's what fans do. Which begs the question, "What's next?"

Now that we've seen the power of of rallying fans, will other cancelled shows follow suit and run a Kickstarter campaign? For the sake of this article, and because it's fun to imagine our favorite TV shows making a comeback, we say yes.
