Entertainers produce some of the finest offspring. Mostly because they end up becoming a second coming of their parents. Farrah Fawcett robbed America for its heart and all of its attention, and her son Redmond O’Neal robs convenience stores. Seems like the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. At first glance, it’s easy to see that Redmond is a foreigner to the land of decent life decisions. A Superman logo tattoo boldly peeks out through his button up shirt, letting the world know that he may change into a superhero in the nearest outdoor full body payphone booth if they still existed. But his meth head smug expression hints towards possibly hearing Louis Lane file a Me Too grievance if she got anywhere near this low rent Clark Kent. Redmond attempted to relieve a cashier of their cash register’s contents with a knife in Santa Monica.

According to police, the son of actors Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal walked into the store, located near Santa Monica, armed with a knife and demanded the clerk to take out money from the register.

Authorities claim that Redmond fled the store after the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash just before 2:30 am. The 33-year-old was arrested nearby and detectives alleged they recovered a knife from Redmond that matched the clerk’s description.

Redmond has a long history of drug abuse, and unlike his half sister Tatum O’Neal,he never got it under control. Redmond was also busted for coke and meth in 2005. In 2011, his pops said that Redmond was a mess because he “never recovered from the loss of his mother

I hope this is a lesson for all future crooks who watch Ocean’s 11 only once. It’s better to not commit a crime, but if you must, do a little more planning first. Maybe hit a casino instead of a convenient store which most likely has less than $300. That kind of money doesn’t stretch long with a drug fix. And most importantly don’t take anything unless you have approval and a play by play from George Clooney first.
