You don't have to be a gaming guru or a movie nerd to have noticed Fallout 4 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens tearing shit up. These two are probably Game of the Year and Movie of the Year respectively, and as Kindergarten math class taught us, a big damn deal plus another big damn deal equals two big damn deals.
So here's a recipe for Internet viral success: let's combine both of these bad boys. The question is, do we bring a little slice of Fallout into Star Wars, or do we bring a lil' Star Wars into Fallout? It's obvious, really. Lightsaber mod.
Yup. Invalidfate's Lightsaber Renew mod for Fallout 4 arms you with sci-fi's most iconic weapon. You get a choice of colors (‘Luke' Blue, ‘Vader' Red, ‘Short Straw' Green and ‘Village People' Pink), and Kotaku promises that the essential ‘shoom sound effects' are included too.
Fallout is well known for its ridiculous weapons, but there's something really special about seeing the ‘saber in action. Maybe I'm just hopped up on The Force Awakens sugar, but this is really awesome.
