‘Expendables 3’ Casting Buzz: Because Who Cares? You’re Going to See It Anyway

Which washed up action star is going to limp into Expendables 3? Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer told the world this morning that they were "advanced negotiations" with Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nic Cage and Milla Jovovich for the 3rd installment of the-who-cares-you-might-as-well-just-give-them-your-money-now Expendables franchise. Jovovich would be a nice addition to the scowling sausage festivals that the first two installments have been.

The movie starts filming in August and so far we only know that it's going to be directed by Aussie Patrick Hughes, whose last film Red Hill was a pretty badass Australian Western Thriller. The rest of the details -- the cast, plot, and release date -- are all up in the air. Since we have no choice but to see it (it's the law), speculation seems pointless. The only thing we're sure of is that it's not going to feature Charles Bronson's reanimated corpse. Wait, that could be amazing. Guys? Make that happen.
