Elizabeth Hurley’s Glamorous Gala Gown

I wonder if Galas maintain their magical reputation after one has been to a thousand of them, as Elizabeth Hurley surely has. Does it ever get to a point where that girlhood dream of pretending to be a Disney princess turns into the adult reality of being one more hassle? Too much of anything can get old after awhile, if it didn't then no one would ever break up with their significant other because who in their right mind would turn down guaranteed sex? 

I imagine that by now Elizabeth must be at the point where she would prefer to stay at home in her old sweatpants and watch Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure for the hundredth time. It probably beats slowly watching yourself get replaced with newer, younger versions of yourself. Or maybe she is just happy to have not been replaced yet, and still be included in the festivities. The biological clock is a son of a bitch that only wants to watch people suffer. It has no loyalty and would sooner have you looking like the crypt keeper than maintain your youth for a single extra day.
