Rumors about Eddie Murphy's death have been greatly exaggerated. Murphy, who used to be funny at one time, was rumored to have died in a snowboarding accident in Zermatt, Switzerland. The people behind the hoax are Mediafetcher.com, who just love to fake celebrity deaths. News sites, including CNN.com, reported the story without actually checking it out.

If there is one thing I've learned in my time working on the Interwebs is that about 65% of everything you read is total BS. So, don't worry. The star of Shrek and Meet The Klumps is still physically alive. He died on the inside years ago.
