With only two weeks to go until the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Marvel is pulling out all the stops to make sure you go see their latest MCU adventure. This new featurette takes us behind the scenes of the upcoming sequel, and there's some interesting tidbits in there about what we can expect from the film.
First off, Evangeline Lilly describes her character, Hope van Dyne, as being constantly in motion. A bundle of energy that never stops moving. I imagine this means she'll be doing most of the action and Paul Rudd's Scott Lang will do most of the talking, and more importantly, most of the quipping.
I expect this to be a non-stop quip fest, with some clever and interesting set pieces, but that's about it. It's important with Marvel movies to keep your expectations low. Yes, almost every Phase III film has been very good, but they also thrive on low expectations. The more you hope and pray that a comic book movie is going to change your life, the more time you're wasting. Go in with expectations that can actually be met.
Ant-Man and the Wasp flies into theaters two weeks from today, on July 7.
