After being unceremoniously dropped by Stuart Pearce from Britain's Olympic squad, David Beckham has shown the masses that he is still able to mix it with the best of them by scoring one of his patented free kicks.
Playing for the LA Galaxy against San Jose Earthquakes in the match dubbed the ‘California Clasico' Beckham scored a tremendous dipping, free-kick form around 25 yards that allowed Bruce Arena‘s men to draw level. Unfortunately his side fell to a 4-3 defeat despite Dave's best efforts.
This result rounded off a terrible week for Beckham who had might it known that he wanted to be in the Olympic football squad but Pearce didn't agree so he'll just have to watch it on TV like the rest of us.
