The first season of Netflix's Iron Fist was, inarguably, the worst of the four Marvel series to come to the streaming service, but it seems there were some lessons learned after that disastrous debut. A-number one on that list is getting Danny Rand in his comic accurate costume this time around, and they're at least part of the way there if this new trailer is any indication.
Yes, comic book accurate costumes are stupid and in the cold light of day, they almost always end up looking ridiculous, but we all know that it's not Iron Fist until he shows up in that neon green spandex with a yellow do-rag on his head. They got the yellow do-rag part into this new trailer, though it looks to be part of some sort of fighting ritual as his opponent is also wearing the same headgear.
Frankly there's nowhere for season two of Iron Fist to go but up. The poor quality of the first season was compounded by the equally poor showing by The Defenders, so the folks at Netflix know that if they want this franchise to continue, they're going to have to step up their game. Fingers crossed that they've figured this out on their own.
Iron Fist season two debuts on Netflix, in its entirety, on September 7.
