If you've ever passed by an actual crime scene and looked at the victim chalk drawings the police made on the ground, then you've probably wondered as well how they're transported and buried. Especially if it looks like they died sprawled all over the ground or in some other pose that would render them too voluminous for a regular coffin.
I mean, when rigor mortis sets in, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to move or reposition the body anymore. Artist Faustine Gau probably had this in mind when he came up with the Crime Scene Coffin that's meant to bury people in the position that they died in.
You've seen the sketches, now you've seen what coffin those bodies will be buried in. Of course, this was meant as an art project but I think Faustine is on to something here. To be honest, it looks oddly comfortable, but I wouldn't want to die that way. It looks like a particularly suffocating way to go.
