The great thing about minor league level sports is that you get the best of everything. You get the chance to see some incredible performances along with some incredible train wrecks. Let's face it. As sports fans we love to watch the wreck as much as we like to see the next greatest thing.
Race fans at Talladega Friday got to see one heck of a wreck; not the metaphorical kind but literal. Mike Affarano's No 83 car flipped numerous times during Friday's ARCA race (the equivalent of single-A competition in baseball) losing the engine at one point before it finally stopped flipping.
Luckily, Affarano was not seriously hurt. He was treated at the infield med center and released. Mike, if you need a drink to calm your nerves after watching this video that's okay. This crash was epic to say the least.
