Conan O’Brien Unveils Long-Lost Alternate Ending to ‘Miracle on 34th Street’

When it comes to Christmas movies, these days it seems newer films are preferred over the old classics. Hell, if the content pumped out by Buzzfeed is any indication of the contemporary zeitgeist, then people must be absolutely obsessed with Home Alone. They've done like 15 lists about that movie in the last two weeks.

But there's nothing wrong with the classics. After all, they became "the classics" because they're good. People are just getting a little bored with them is all. The kids will love 'em if you just spruce them up a bit. So yesterday we showed you one attempt at freshening up It's a Wonderful Life. And today we've got an attempt at freshening up Miracle on 34th Street.

It comes to us courtesy of Team Coco, and while I don't want to spoil it or anything, let's just say that Santa takes a much more heavy-handed approach with Mr. Shellhammer in this version.
