GAMING

It was only a matter of time before this happened. Every anticipated game has special 'insert random title' editions that are used to suck some more cash out of your pocket. That being said, Injustice: Gods Among Us' recently announced 'Collector's Edition' looks to be worth the asking price and will include some neat bonuses.
First of all, this collector's edition is going to be a bit different than normal, with different versions for North America and Europe. The main attraction of these collector's editions is a statue depicting Batman and Wonder Woman in combat. Europe will receive the statue above, while North America will be getting the same characters in a different pose below (looks like Batman's losing).
Excluding this stellar looking piece of brutal art, players will receive redeemable codes for 'New 52' themed DLC skins for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as well as a digital copy of the animated film 'Justice League: Doom', a special steel book case and a special edition of an unannounced DC Comics series. If you're still on the fence I should mention that, although the makers of the statues are still unknown, the quality is most definitely there and it sits at just about 13"...that's a nice office piece right there!
Having two different versions is a sneaky move that will force hardcore collectors to spend twice as much if they want both versions of the statue. A high price to pay, but so is the life of a collector.
The superhero brawler, created by Mortal Kombat veterans NetherRealm has been recently announced for an April 2013 release for Xbox 360 and PS3.
