Winter is coming, but not until spring.
Game of Thrones, better known as humanity's greatest achievement, is returning for a forth season on April 6th, HBO has announced. Unfortunately, this announcement did not include a trailer, but one is expected to run this Sunday during the premiere of True Detective, if not sooner. Of course, we will show it to you as soon as we're able, assuming you're willing to stop looking at breasts for a few minutes and check it out.
Season four will use the second half of A Storm of Swords (book three) as its source material, with perhaps some spillover into A Feast for Crows (book four). I don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't read the books, so I won't go into details. But I can tell you that the yet-to-be-seen kingdom of Dorne factors prominently into the story, and the "Red Wedding" turns out to have been a dream.
Just kidding about that last one. Maybe.
