Cameras have come a long way since George Eastman came up with the first film camera for Kodak. Steve Sasson eventually came along and invented the digital camera and Kodak has gone belly up since then--but that's not all. Because cameras are apparently so easy to make these days, people are stuffing them into all sorts of weird bodies or pairing them up with random stuff like pens, sunglasses, and calculators.
The latest in this series of unusual cameras is Chobi Cam's Block Camera. I think the name says it all. It's basically a camera that looks like a LEGO block so you can snap pics covertly and get away with it, because all other people will see is an overgrown dude playing around with a LEGO block. Neat, huh.
The Block Camera can shoot 1.3-megapixel still images in color or in black and white. It can also record 720×480 video at 24fps, and given its size and price, that's not too bad.
