Chinese Zoo Has Knock-Off Lion That’s Really A Dog

A Chinese zoo called The People's Park of Luohe has a really unique lion exhibit. What makes it so incredible is that it's not a lion in the cage, it's a dog. Yeah. The unscrupulous zookeepers put a Tibetan mastiff in a cage and tried to pass it off as an African lion. But, of course, no one bought it because people are not quite as stupid as they seem, (some of them, anyway). Apparently, this is something this zoo does. There are allegations that they may have painted other fluffy dogs black and white to try and pass them off as pandas and put a regular dog in the wolf pen. Perhaps they should expand beyond dogs, maybe? But really can we be surprised? The Chinese are the masters of the knock-off.

That's not a dig, I admire it. My mom makes me take her to Chinatown every time she comes to visit me in New York and she's gotten some seriously well made knock-off purses. They look like the real thing. However, there are other knock-offs in Chinatown that aren't as good. The Guckis, Prodos, and Lou Vittons aren't quite as convincing. You can by a Nantindo Vii, but it's going to break in two days. This is what we have here. This dog is the crappy knock-off purse of the lion kingdom.
