Martin Scorsese definitely knew what he was bringing to the plate when he pushed to have Easy Money released in the good old US of A. Partnering up with The Weinstein Company, Scorsese has paved the way to have the Swedish thriller, which has been a cult favorite all over the world since its 2010 release, presented to American audiences.
More people will probably be able to recognize Easy Money's leading actor Joel Kinnaman, since he has gone on to star in AMC's The Killing after the movie. Director Daniel Espinosa hasn't done so bad himself either, as he is now developing The Outsider for Warner Brothers having come off from directing last February's surprise hit, Safe House.
Check out what the fuss about this movie is all about by watching its newly-released trailer in the player above, and sound off what you think about it after the jump!
Lower-class business student JW (Kinnaman) falls in love with a sexy heiress while living a double life mingling with Stockholm's wealthy elite. To keep up the façade of his lifestyle, he's lured into a world of crime.
Easy Money stars Matias Padin Varela, Dragomir Mrsic, Lisa Henni, Dejan Čukić, Annika Whittembury, Lea Stojanov alongside Kinnaman and will be released in theaters this July 11th.
