Lots of guys would do anything to get a girl. If they happen to loaded, then they probably wouldn't mind dropping a few G's in the process. One such man is money-lender Datta Phuge who hails from the Indian city of Pimpri-Chinchwad. And he didn't just drop one or two grand just to attract the ladies. No, Datta decided to go all the way and spent $230,000 to have this 22-karat gold shirt made so he could parade around the city and attract women like moths to a flame...not.
In an interview, Phuge explains that it's an investment since the value of gold is predicted to rise. That sounds reasonable. But he adds: "I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?"
BUZZ!
That's where the buzzer's supposed to go off, my friends, because clearly Mr. Phuge knows close to nothing about women. I could list a hundred and one things he could've done with that money to actually get a girl and not be branded as some rich but sadly clueless doofus, but alas, it's too late--the deed has been done and the shirt has been made.
Note: Some sources say that the shirt cost $23,000 so we'll update once it's been verified. But with or without the added zero, it's still a lot of money!
