How confident is Alex Gerrard? Well, she is an Englishwoman who has a tan. That is like finding an albino alligator in California’s wine country, or two matching socks after doing a load of laundry in a public laundromat. This sort of thing does not simply happen every day.

I have met Englishwomen who were second generation immigrants, and they still refused to live further south than the middle of Indiana. That is not to say that they were actually willing to live in Indiana, that is just the lowest latitude that they are willing to inhabit. I do not know if an Englishman has ever willingly moved to Indiana, but my money would be on no. If they had then I think Indiana would have advertised it more.

It has always perplexed as to how a Guatemalan ends up immigrating to Minnesota. Minnesotans do not even want to live in Minnesota. How bad is Guatemala that a Minnesota winter can actually be considered a step up? I have lived in the first world for my entire existence and yet I still envy the people that are living in third world countries which have everlasting summers.
