Charlize Theron is coming clean about her routine reefer habit during her early years on this Earth. It’s hard not to yawn when celebrities have this out-of-touch image of themselves never grounded in reality. Theron talking about her early marijuana habits is the equivalent to overhearing soccer moms talk about always taking extra Tide detergent coupons from a Sunday paper that they did not pay for. Your level of mischief barely fits in the misdemeanor category. Tell us you really did meth on the set of Monster to get into character and then we’ll pay attention. Admitting you’ve smoked a lot of pot is not a big deal at all. Especially when you’re an entertainer. Two of the most boring “taboo” topics thespians love to talk about always happens to be the first time they had sex or the first time they got high. If you were really a wild child you did both concurrently before your 14th birthday.

Charlize Theron‘s rise and grind routine once included a bit of green. “I was a wake-and-baker for most of my life,” the 42-year-old actress shared of her history with marijuana. “I really appreciated marijuana way more than alcohol or anything else,” she explained.

Telling the world you were a wake-and-bake woman for most of your life isn’t exactly newsworthy. It just lets everyone know you probably owned a glow-in-the-dark Bob Marley poster at one point in your life and would have a hard time passing a drug test if they took a hair sample.
