Celebrities Ruin Everything: Dick’s Sporting Goods Edition

Celebrities that suck don't realize that by endorsing something - AKA shoving something down our throats - they make normal people want to do the opposite. Their respective fan bases most likely already agree with their opinions, so why bother tweeting about a polarizing topic at all? Not only is it preaching to your own sad little choir, but it's making other choirs want to differentiate themselves from you even if that involves buying AK-15s to prove it. Hell I'm about to buy one right now just because of gross ass Debora Messing.

Basically Dick's Sporting Goods CEO Edward Stark's decision to pull assault-style rifles from all of his stores in the wake of the Parkland shooting has inspired words of self-congratulatory encouragement from the usual suspects as well as some new ones. Once the new woke non-slutty actress Alyssa Milano endorses something, you know the party's over. The celebrities are saying that they're going to start shopping at Dick's, so if you're smart, you'll avoid the stores at all costs. You can get 2000's The North Face jackets online and guns at any abandoned parking lot anywhere in Indiana. Or, ya know, Florida.
