Okay, I don't normally veer into the musical genre, albeit, my iPod playlists have been described by Rolling Stone as outright Genius. But, last evening, on the occasion of 420 eve, I was invited by the producers of the upcoming documentary, California 90420, about the revolutionary weedy type changes for the 20-somethings of the Golden State, to hear them lay down some acoustical music tracks for their film. I got a chance to meet the music artist, Human (everybody there had a cool nickname but me!) who fired off several original folk-rocky Guthrie-esque odes to the green lifestyle and got my Croc-covered toes a tapping. And, well, when in Hippyville, do as the hippies do, so, yeah, I bootlegged the recording for 'Here in California'. (play above)
We don't often do this here on Egotastic!, but since many of you are already more heavily baked than Mischa Barton on any given weekday, what the heck. Enjoy.
P.S. Most undoubtedly, also check out Human's Tree of Life song on YouTube, I'm told by my friends in the glazed-over-eyes set that it's quite the ode to hemp decriminalization.
