I'm not some internationally-renowned business genius who became a billionaire overnight. I don't fly a solid gold helicopter to private schools to give smartass talks to upper class kids. There are only two things I know about business, and they are these:

1. Retailers like it when you buy their shit.

2. Retailers do not like it when you don't buy their shit.

What does this mean for video games? For one thing, it means preorder bonuses-amundo. Different stores offer different extras for securing your copy with them, PSN or Xbox Live might have something of their own to encourage digital buys, all those sorts of shenanigans. Often it's just trivial DLC, but if you've got a Pikachu keyring or something on the line, your decision needs some thought.

For studly Ego-gamers like ourselves, Doom is one of the biggest upcoming releases. As such, you'll probably want to get in on it. So how about a triple-dippin' Doom digital deal with Xbox One?

As Game Informer reports, an Xbox Store screwup showed the Doom bundle early, before it's available. Preordering the game there will net you a download of Doom I and Doom II into the bargain, it seems. At the time of writing, this wasn't 100% confirmed, but it's been the case on the service before and is pretty darn likely.

Is that enough to tempt you to the digital side? A nice lil' dividend for retroheads and newcomers to the games alike (assuming there's someone in the world who has never played Doom before).

The game arrives on May 13, in case you were wondering.
