Britney Spears Rises Above

There is word now that the MTV VMA's demoted Britney Spears big MTV comeback performance at the Video Music Awards to occur after Beyonce's extended fire shooting experience because they viewed Spears as second tier. Rationale for her ranking included the fact that Britney doesn't actually sing. Also her synchronized blue tooth dance moves haven't been updated since the days when MTV ran music videos.

Spears spent the days since the VMAs on radio shows and magazine interviews discussing how Beyonce's fifteen minute tour de force performance hardly intimidated her and how her career is only just now really beginning:

Madonna started when she was 32. I’m 34, so I’ll probably have nine more [albums] to go. The world can’t get rid of me.

That's not even close to factually correct, but her enthusiasm is undeniable. Britney's never been required to think deep thoughts since she was first selected at a tender age to be in the Mickey Mouse Club. You're blond and just the right amount of not model hot to be thought of as attainable. Smile and strike a fuck-me pose. How did you not know all your backup dancers were gay? Silly.
