Blah blah blah, Comic-Con. So, Bryan Cranston continues to prove again and again that he's a raging badass -- and his costume this weekend was no exception.
Some of the best costumes at Comic-Con involve all sorts of visible flesh and nerdy-near-nip-slips, but Cranston aced it all by covering his (flesh that is)...with a Walter White mask. Woah. Meta.
He walked around all weekend in the mask and his signature character's garb, he even affected a high pitched voice to further cover his tracks. No one noticed. He dropped the joke just after arriving onstage in the mask to Sunday's Breaking Bad panel. He kept it with him while he and the rest of the cast answered questions from fans about the best show on television.
He and Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) both took breaks to make out with the mask.
Ok, fine, so he didn't officially win the Comic-Con Cosplay contest (if there is such a thing), that distinction probably went to someone with much more advanced and sufficiently bodacious ta-ta's. By pulling out an impeccable meta-joke to end all meta-jokes, Cranston did, however, win the Cosplay Contest in our hearts. Awww. Blah blah blah, Comic-Con.
